Mission: As a true wrestling club for the North Liberty Community, the focus of NLWC is to develop and grow the love of and respect for the sport of wrestling in all ages, groups, and identities. We believe athletes should first be proficient in the seven principles of wrestling; position, motion, level change, penetration, lifting, back step, and back arch. We stress the importance of sportsmanship, accountability, and resilience. Focusing on the athletes performance and experience, over winning or losing. Developing athletes to mentally visualize their success through setting goals while creating and developing a strong and positive team presence in the community.
